Brethren of Acacia,
Welcome to a new dawn in the history of Acacia Lodge No. 561. While we look back with fond memories of our time spent at Westboro Temple, we have a long future ahead of us in our new home in Richmond.
We will hit the ground running this year, with several degrees to look forward to as well as just being back in lodge with one another.
Our work for this upcoming meeting will include a memorial for W. Bro. Glenn Fleck who passed to the Grand Lodge Above during the summer break. We will also be going to the third degree to allow Bro. Perkins to prove himself and carry on with his masonic journey.
We will also be balloting for a new SW and Secretary as we, unfortunately, lost those brethren over the summer. I wish them well as they continue their journeys with whichever lodge they elect to join in the future.
There will also be a notice of motion to amend our bylaws as we have moved, and our bylaws need to reflect this change of address.
The DDGM, Kosta Hatzis, will also be joining us for his fraternal visit in the September meeting. Look forward to lots of gold on opening night.
